Ringora began with a simple frustration. Our founder, a software engineer born and raised in Toronto, kept watching small businesses hit the same two walls. The first was price: eye-watering quotes for phone systems that were, underneath it all, just software. The second was complexity. Going the traditional route meant a physical PBX in a back closet and a specialist on call every time anything changed. Going modern meant administering a cloud PBX yourself, buried in a portal of extensions and routing rules that nobody running a pharmacy or a restaurant has time to learn.

Auto-attendants, call queues, multi-line capacity: this is the technology the biggest corporations in the world run their call centres on, and none of it was actually expensive or difficult anymore. So in 2016, he set out to fix both problems at once. Take the same modern, high-performance infrastructure the giants rely on, deliver it at a price the corner pharmacy or the two-truck contractor can afford, and absorb the hassle completely. We design the system, build the routing, and keep it running. There is no box to maintain, no admin portal to master, and no specialist on retainer. Your phone system becomes a simple monthly line item, and the technical side is our job.

Today, Ringora is built and run by a team of talented Canadian engineers who care about the details: the routing that never drops a call, the fax that always goes through, the setup that just works on day one. The same people who design the platform keep it running, which is why problems get solved instead of ticketed.

And one test still decides everything we build: does this give a small business the same calibre of communications as a corporation, without the corporate price tag or the corporate IT department? If the answer is no, it doesn't ship.
